A couple more of my cannonball girl!

And now for a few from my vacation last week. My kiddos lived in the hotel pool the entire week.
They all had such fun doing cannon balls. I swear my kids are half fish

I'm just starting to proof my wedding from Saturday. Michelle and Jason are such a great couple. Jason is my shy groom from the engagement session a couple of months ago.

Jason was so relaxed and fun at their wedding. Their wedding was in Pinckneyville, IL. I'm a small town girl so everytime I have a wedding in Pinckneyville I feel like I've gone home. Give me a wedding there any day of the week. (Well, maybe just Saturdays.)

As soon as I saw this old television in Michelle's former bedroom I had the idea for this photograph. I couldn't wait to get to this photograph.

I met Jamie and Charlie tonight for their engagement session. We met out at Forest Park and I was shocked at the state of the park. There were so many trees down everywhere.

I also had a bridal session yesterday with Beth and her daughter Allegra. I won't show any of Beth in her gorgeous dress since I want her to have her grand entrance at the wedding.

Allegra is the flower girl in the wedding. She is such a beautiful young lady.

Yesterday was the first time that I have met Renee and Jeremy even though I'm photographing their wedding in September.

I'm in Chicago this week and while here I got to do an engagement session with Jake and Kelly. I'm going to be photographing their wedding in late September.

Jake is my husbands cousin. He was only 12 when I came into the family and it's so surreal to see him all grown up. Wow! That just made me sound really old. Just keep in mind I was only 13 when I got married. LOL!!! (I'll believe that one if you will.)

I have several sessions in line to be editted before I am scheduled to get to this one but I was just so excited to take a peak at them.

Jake has fantastic taste in women! Kelly is just so darned cute!! Not to mention as sweet as can be. She even put up with my 3 rowdy kids (they are family and we have to break her in).

Jake and my husband are both driving to the same wedding in Iowa this weekend (I'll be flying home to St Louis for a wedding there). Somehow Jake turned down the opportunity to let my monkeys ride with him.

So far this year I've had the opportunity to photograph so many fantastic couples. Chad and Crystal are some of my favorite clients. Chad reminds me a lot of my brother in law and we really just hit it off with such great chemistry. Crystal is just so down to earth and easy going and so low stress (I know you may differ on that fact Chad). We totally get each other.

They are expecting Alex to come very soon and I snuck them in for a quick session the day before I left for vacation. Crystal has the perfect round baby belly. I was so surprised at how she had "blossomed" since I saw her last month.

I can't wait to meet little Alex. You had better be calling me as soon as he arrives!!! I need a baby fix.

You may remember Jessica from her wedding photographs from early in June. We finally had a chance to get together to do her bridal portraits. Her mom had always dreamed of having her daughter have portraits in her wedding dress in their back yard.

Since Jessica has now moved out I asked, very nicely I might add, if I could have her old room but they turned me down. Her parents have the most amazing home and backyard I've ever seen. Their property rivals those I've seen in many parks. It's a photographers dream.

Of course, Jessica is just as gorgeous as she was on her wedding day. We even let Tim jump in for a few photographs too.

I really love doing bridal sessions after the wedding. There's no real pressure to keep the dress pristine and there's no stress at all. It's just about getting portraits of the bride in her dress just being herself.

And another wedding photo and one of my new boyfriend.

Here are a few shots from Brandon and Jami's wedding on July 8th!! Have I mentioned I always have the most beautiful couples.

They were such great sports during a long hot July day. I even convinced them and the limo driver to trust me as I had them follow me through a questionable neighborhood, over a narrow one lane bridge and down a gravel path to get to a fantastic location for portraits.

Here's me at my booth at the St Louis Best Bridal show today in Chesterfield. I love doing bridal shows. I enjoy seeing all the brides for 2007 and getting to chat with them. And I'll admit it, I love the compliments on my portraits!!

The brides for 2007 are some of the best looking brides I've ever seen!! I'm so excited to be photographing so many of them next year.
