Tonight I decided to try to get a few shots of Gideon. He's my baby and it hit me very recently that he is growing up way too quickly. He will be 3 on July 29th.

He's my challenging child and I rarely get good photographs of him. Normally he's simply a blur as he runs through the frame. He's a very very, um, lets go with active little guy (his teacher likes to call him "ornery") He is a sweetheart (when he's not biting your ankles) and has recently decided singing at the top of your voice is the most fun ever.

So tonight I took him out and tried to get a few photos of the little man. He has the most amazing blue eyes and the longest eyelashes I've ever seen. I really wanted to focus on those.

Oh, the pouty face look is the face I got when I insisted that he stop throwing dirt at me as I was taking his portraits. Ornery little devil!
