A few more from Jake and Kelly's beautiful day. I love the last portrait. You can really see what kind of weather we were fighting against all day.

Where to even begin with Jake and Kelly. They are so in love that I'm not even sure that they knew there were guests at the wedding. They were all about each other. It was such a fantastic day.

Couples should all be this in love on their wedding day.

We really lucked out at the wedding. Their wedding was in Chicago and as Kelly started to put on her dress it started thundering and lightening and raining like crazy. Luckily it lasted only about 10 minutes and we were able to get some of the most amazing portraits ever.

Expect to see several of these portraits in my galleries in the very near future.

Jake is the wonderful web designer who recently redesigned my website. I love the new layout and I couldn't be happier with it.

Now that fall is officially here I'm doing a ton of engagment sessions for weddings later this fall and next spring.

Bethany and Dan got engaged at the very last game at the old Busch stadium. It was only appropriate that we do part of their engagment session at the new Busch stadium.

Somehow I convinced these 2 to go to a carnival in their wedding clothing.

Jamie and Charlie were married on September 16th.

Oh, did I mention McKenzie is crazy?

The groomsmen got this great idea to kidnap the bride. So during Brian's dance with his mom the groomsmen snatched the bride and took her to Hooters. The guys then proceeded to get her an employees shirt and a name tag. Somehow Marvin only wishes he looked this good.

I think the thing I found funniest is that when Brian finally called he only asked if Matt was with us. They had one of those receptions that I'm pretty sure would have been still going as the sun came up.

McKenzie and Brian were a very very fun/crazy couple. Well, McKenzie is crazy. I had a ball this whole day!

These 2 brothers were just as sweet as could be. I had such fun photographing them.

Okay, last one from this wedding. Did I mention I loved them? Posted by Picasa
Okay, so I'll admit it. I'm fickle. I'm one of the most fickle people you will ever meet. Every weekend I have a new favorite couple. It's true. If I've just photographed a large wedding I'll honestly tell you I love a big wedding. If I've just finished a small intimate wedding I can pass a polygraph when I tell you they are my favorite.

I love weddings. I'll just come straight out and say it. I love everything about them. I love the romance. I love the locations. I even love the drama that sometimes comes out. I'm a big sucker for a wedding.

Melissa and David's wedding was one of those days that was simply perfect in every way. It was a day that I went home exhausted but with a big smile on my face and in my heart. They are the sweetest most in love couple I've met in a long time.

My what a blog slacker I've become recently.
Let's play catch up on a few weddings here.
Here are a few from Renee and Jeremy's wedding back in September. I photographed Jeremy's cousins wedding last summer and I was honored with the referal for the wedding.

It was so fun to work with the same family a year later. It's the first time I've had the same flower girl in 2 different weddings. And how cute is she here?
